Thrift Day

Thrift Day is our most popular event, hosting usually around 20-30 people (which is big for a club event)! We conduct this event 2-3 times a school year, usually after holiday breaks. People are encouraged to bring their old clothes that they were planning to donate. Using a Goodwill Bins tactic, everyone places their clothes on a table and gets to “thrift” and find/exchange clothing items! This has proven to be very sustainable and eliminates clothing waste. All leftover clothing is donated to our local homeless shelter or charity center.
